Phuket Essentials
A bold, friendly guide-mark for a brand built on local knowledge — loud enough to stop the scroll, warm enough to trust.
The logomark
Your "P" is a location pin doing double duty as a magnifying glass — search and place, fused into one shape. The wave at its base ties it back to the island. That's a strong, ownable idea; the identity below is built to protect and extend it, not compete with it.
- Keep the red pin-mark and black wordmark as a fixed pair — treat it as one unit, not two elements to rearrange
- Give the mark clear space equal to the height of the "P" circle on all sides
- Use the mark alone (no wordmark) as a small-space favicon, app icon, or Story sticker
- Place on clean, low-clutter backgrounds — white, cream, or solid black
- Recolor the pin — red and black are the brand; don't tint it teal, sand, or anything seasonal
- Stretch, skew, or rotate the mark
- Place the full lockup over busy beach photography without a solid or scrim behind it
- Add drop shadows, bevels, or outer glows — the mark is flat and graphic by design
Palette
Red, black, and white are the brand — non-negotiable, straight from the logo. Teal and sand are new: an "island" secondary pair that gives you room to design (backgrounds, tags, highlights) without ever touching the mark's own colors.
Type system
The wordmark uses a chunky, rounded slab — friendly and confident. We're pairing that spirit with a rounded display face for headlines, and a clean grotesk for body copy so long-form guides stay easy to read.
Tone of voice
Confident local, not a tourist brochure. The mark is bold and a little playful — the writing should match it.
Applications
A quick look at the system applied to the two places it'll show up most: Instagram and Facebook post templates.
